The other type of autoresponder is one where you purchase a software application for a one-time, flat cost. You then install it on your own server, configure it all to work and (theoretically) you're all set.

Don't follow my first example ……. I made the wrong choice and ended up paying dearly for the mistake.

With a program where you are a subscriber, the merchant has the all of the responsibilities for maintaining their service. You won't be left "high & dry" like I was! Believe me, you want to make the "right" decision the first time.

I was forced to move my list from my own domain when the software started malfunctioning. I found out that the cost of support was going to be about $75 US just to diagnose my problem.
